Christopher Lazzara joined NRI in 2000 as a sales associate, and advanced to become President in 2009. He serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors. Chris holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from The Florida State University College of Business.
Chris Lazzara leads NRI’s business focus on three fundamental aspects: Leading the industry with quality composite solutions; Fostering innovation and development of new cutting edge composite technology; and Expanding into new global markets. He offers the strategic agility and visionary operations to pave the path for NRI’s growth.
Holder of numerous patents, he is involved in Research and Development at NRI. He also works closely with the entire management team to guide the future of the company.
Chris Lazzara has been recognized for his industry leadership, and he was elected as a board member on the ASME PCC2 Pipeline committee in 2006. This position offers him a chance to interact with other executives within the pipeline industry to make sure composites are correctly used and evaluated. He has also collaborated to publish various technical papers and articles for related industry publications and seminars.
Chief Operating Officer
Jordan Griffith has been working in manufacturing and fabrication facilities since the age of 13, while growing up outside of Pittsburgh in southwestern Pennsylvania. His formative experiences led to a job running the east coast’s largest commercial powder coating facility. He was also the owner and manager of a state-of-the-art tube laser processing facility that manufactured materials for the construction, automotive, and defense industries.
Since joining NRI in July of 2013, Jordan has combined his knowledge of manufacturing and logistics with NRI’s cutting-edge product development. As Vice President of Operations, he is responsible for operational aspects including inventory management, vendor contracts and negotiations, as well as supervising the manufacturing processes.
Jordan has a Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management and Information Systems from Penn State University.
Vice President of Sales & Marketing
James “Ryan” Schwarz has more than 17 years experience in composite manufacturing, material selection and technical sales, which led him to join NRI in May of 2008 as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Ryan is responsible for the development and management of NRI’s long term marketing growth and action plan, along with strategic partnerships and business relationships. Those fundamental areas include product development, branding, advertising, promotions, and other revenue generating initiatives.
Mr. Schwarz has developed a strong reputation for integrity and professionalism bridging NRI’s long-term business relationships. He shares his composite knowledge with a team of sales managers that he oversees on day to day basis. Ryan expresses NRI’s shared vision to exceed the customers’ expectation by providing value added solutions for each of our clients.
Ryan provides hands on insight towards Research and Development at NRI, and is named on several company patents. Continuous improvement and product development efforts are key to the integration of NRI’s new products and cutting-edge technology.
Mr. Schwarz is a graduate of Indiana University, where he completed his Bachelor of Science degree, then completed his Masters of Science degree at University of Central Florida.
Chief Financial Officer
Brian Kirkpatrick joined the NRI Management Team in May 2015 as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). His main responsibility will be to oversee the financial health of the organization. Bringing over 15 years of investment and transaction experience, Mr. Kirkpatrick will also be responsible with the capital investment and strategic growth initiatives of NRI.
Mr. Kirkpatrick was previously the founder and CEO of Taylor Capital, LLC, a consulting company. Taylor Capital predominantly advised institutions with acquisitions, mergers, business development, and other corporate growth initiatives.
Mr. Kirkpatrick was previously the Chief Investment Officer of a $3.5 billion investment firm, where he was responsible with the firm’s investment strategy. Mr. Kirkpatrick was also Founder, President, and Director of Capital Guardian Asset Management (“CGAM”), a $300 million institutional investment firm. Under CGAM, Mr. Kirkpatrick was a Founder and President of Capital Guardian Funds Trust, the firm’s mutual fund division.
Prior to joining Capital Guardian, Mr. Kirkpatrick was Senior Vice President and Director in the $1 billion investment group of a nationally chartered trust company. Mr. Kirkpatrick created and oversaw the firm’s $300 million proprietary investment division.
Mr. Kirkpatrick received an MBA with a specialization in International Business from The University of Miami and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the Warrington School of Business at the University of Florida.
